U.S. Army Major Thomas E. Kennedy, 35, of West Point, New York, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, based in Fort Carson, Colorado, died on August 8, 2012, of wounds suffered when an insurgent detonated a suicide vest in Kunar province, Afghanistan. He is survived by his wife Kami, son Brody, daughter Margaret, parents George and Patricia, and brothers John and George.

Post Christmas 30

How many of you took the Christmas 300 challenge?  Have no fear, the post Christmas 30 is here.  Its a simple one . . . go for a 30 min jog.  Done.  If your feeling froggy, throw 20 pushups in every 5 minutes or at intersections.

Conditioning this week

We will condition Tues/Wed/Thur this week.  I will look @ the weather and warmest day of the three we will meet at the field.  Stay tuned for that update.  Until the update, plan on meeting in the hallway outside of the wt room @3.

Arm Care Program/Tom PT

Attached is recommended for all players 3-5 days a week.  If you don't have bands you can purchase them at minimal cost from Olympia or any other sporting good store.

Reminder we will meet at the track tomorrow if it is not raining and in the wt room at 3pm if it is.

Physcial Conditioning

Winter Conditioning starts Wed/Thur this week. . . 3:00-430.  3pm at the field and we will finish up in the weight room.

Winter Hitting Reminder

Reminder - Coach Kezele and I will run winter hitting for all interested FHS players, beginning Mon Dec 2, 730-900 at Snyder Baseball.  The FHS coaching staff will run all instruction, to include video and advanced instruction.  The cost will be $125 per player to cover the cost of renting 2 full lanes.  We will have 12 sessions so it comes to approximately $10 per player.  Player's who have not signed up yet, can do so on Monday at Snyder's.  

Here are the 10 Monday's we have reserved.  We have 2 more time slots to fill between now and the start of the season that have yet to be determined.  If you have any questions, please contact me.

Thanks to all the players and parents who participated in field day on Saturday! Your effort and dedication is the foundation of this program.

As a reminder, Winter hitting starts Dec 2nd at Snyder Baseball.  Please let me know if you will be attending so that I can arrange payment prior to the end of the month.  Cost is $125 per player to cover rental.

2013 Fall Season Ends with 0-0 marathon

FHS has successfully concluded our 2013 fall season with 0-0, 9 inning marathon at Colonial Forge.  We do not have an additional game scheduled for this week, but I will be scheduling an end of season meeting in the next 2 weeks to review the season and go over the winter conditioning and indoor programs.  Thanks for everyone's hard work and time in the concession stand, photography bay and work to maintain the field and surrounding areas.  Each families efforts this fall created a fun and successful learning experience for the boys and helped to continue to develop and support the FHS baseball program.  Thanks again and I'll be in touch soon.

Great Opening Weekend
