FHS Program Philosophy

The Mission of the Fauquier High School Baseball program is to provide high level baseball instruction and skill development utilizing baseball as a platform to teach the core life values of hard work, dedication, teamwork, accountability and leadership.

Program Philosophy:

Ownership of the program starts with the athlete. Be accountable for results!

Success is earned not given! Take personal ownership of academics and athletics and turn potential into ability!

Hard work and dedication creates success. Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn’t work as hard!

Concession Call for HELP!

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported FHS against cross town rival Kettle Run last night!  FHS walked away with an exciting 7-2 victory, behind a strong outing by starter Charlie Simmons.  For those that were able to enjoy the concession stand, we will need your help to keep it going!  Please contact the Booster Club if you or your family can assist.  Thanks!

JV Wins Hope Opener

After weeks of fighting the weather, FHS finally had a regular season baseball game played at Athey Field.  JV opened their season with an 11-2 victory over in county rival Liberty.  Both teams will be in action tonight against Courtland.  Varsity @ Courtland 7:30, JV Home @ 6:00.
