Tryouts Resume Fri

Tryouts will resume Friday at 3pm.  Listen for the announcements, but plan on inside or outside.  If inside we will be in the Old Gym 3-430.  I will announce cuts  and meet with players immediately following the tryouts.  I will be re-scheduling Wilkin's shoes, hopefully for Sat.

Tryouts Monday

Tryouts begin Monday.  Bring indoor and outdoor clothing as well as all required baseball equipment.  All players MUST bring their physical of have a physical on file to tryout.  We will meet at the Filed immediately after school.

Physicals - Mandatory to Tryout

As a reminder, all players need a physical to tryout.  If you have not scheduled one yet, Coach Grimley may be able to get you squared away on Thursday.  See him in the training room tomorrow to make possible arrangements, if you are interested.

Team Shoes

For those interested in team shoes, we will be working with Wilkin's Shoe Store out of Winchester and they give us great prices and excellent service.  If you are interested in your player getting shoes, their rep will be at FHS on Feb 28th.  Please e-mail me if your player is interested @ Maverick1618@msn.com so that I can give them an idea of our interest level.  Thanks

Sunday Hitting Reminder

For those in our Monday hitting clinic, we have time slots @ Snyders on Sunday Feb 9 from 8-930 and Sunday Feb 16 730-900. These additions do not effect our Monday hitting schedule, which continues from 730-900 though Feb 18.

Meeting tomorrow rm 705

Immediately after school tomorrow all interested baseball players will meet in Room 705.  Brian will conduct concussion tests after for those that need them.  All others may come to conditioning.

Arm Care Re-post

Attached is recommended for all players 3-5 days a week.  If you don't have bands you can purchase them at minimal cost from Olympia or any other sporting good store.

Reminder we will meet at the track tomorrow if it is not raining and in the wt room at 3pm if it is.

Good afternoon,

  I wanted to let you all know about an opportunity for your student athletes to receive a Spring Sports Physical at a discounted price.  FHS Boys Lacrosse has partnered with the office of Dr. Anita Maybach to offer sports physicals to ALL FHS student athletes for 30$.  Any interested student should see me in the Training Room for sign-up information.  Sign-up times are given on a  first-come-first served basis.  Please pass this excellent opportunity along to your athletes.  If you have additional questions, please feel free to ask.  Thank you.  –Bryan Grimley
