The Mission of the Fauquier High School Baseball program is to provide high level baseball instruction and skill development utilizing baseball as a platform to teach the core life values of hard work, dedication, teamwork, accountability and leadership.

Falcons Down Eastern View

Fauquier downed Eastern View 11-5 tonight behind a strong offensive performance and back to back home runs by Senior Garrett Croson and Junior Charlie Simmons.  The Falcons strung together four consecutive multi-run innings in Culpeper to chip away at an early deficit and eventually break the game open.  Freshmen Ty Pavlock had his best game as a Falcon, going 2-4 with a double and 3 RBI.  The Falcon's begin District Play against Liberty on Friday at 6 pm. 

OneX bat removed from approved list

NFHS removes Louisville oneX bat from approved List
The NFHS has made state associations aware that the Louisville oneX bat has been removed from the ASA approved bat list and is no longer legal in any NFHS/VHSL contests. The penalty for use of any illegal equipment is handled in section 3-6-1 and 7-4-2 of the NFHS Softball Rules.

Falcons Defeat Mountain View 4-3

The Falcons put together their best 7 innings of baseball this season to outlast Mountain View 4-3 on Friday.  Junior Pitcher Charlie Simmons went all 7 innings, striking out 14 Cougar hitters and allowing only 2 earned runs.  The middle of the Falcon's order provided the pop as Simmons, Hunter Ball and Shawn Herrell, each had RBI's.  The entire Falcon line up had one of their best outings putting together 14 quality at bats.  Fauquier looks to get to .500 at Eastern View on Wednesday at 4:30.
