Falcons Beat Skyline 10-5

Fauquier's offense exploded for 10 runs on Friday night stringing together 12 hits up and down the order, including a first inning, 2 run home run by Charlie Simmons, who went 2 for 4 with 3 RBI.  Strating pitcher Ryan Simpson helped break the game open in Fifth with a 2 RBI double with the bases loaded to put Fauquier on top for good.  Falcon's lead off hitter Gavin Cranford set the table for the offensive charge, going 2-for-3, 1BB, 3 RS, 2 SB and an RBI.  Simmons got the win in relief of Simpson and Sam Tinnesz, Striking out 10, on one hit and allowing no runs over the final 4 innings.  The Falcon's will try to get back to .500 at Culpeper on Friday the 29th, frist pitch at 4:30.

JV Game Cancelled In cages 3-4

JV game against Skyline is postponed.  JV will hit in the batting cage from 3-4. Varsity have field ready for BP @ 4pm.

Pictures tomorrow at the field. 3pm. Team photo $10. Team and Individual player $20.

Culpeper/Skyline games both cancelled for today and tomorrow.  Skyline for JV/V will be made up this Friday, 22nd.  We will most likely make up the V game against Culpeper on Friday, 29th.  Let me know ASAP if you will be out of town.

March 8 deadline reminder

Thanks for everyone who attended the Parent meeting.  As a reminder:
$60 activity fees are due on March 8.

Spotsy Scrimmage Postponed

If you have not seen it on the schedule, the Varsity Scrimmage for Friday and the JV Scrimmage on Saturday have been cancelled.  We are working to reschedule something for Wed next week, we are just awaiting confirmation from Spotsylvania.
