The Mission of the Fauquier High School Baseball program is to provide high level baseball instruction and skill development utilizing baseball as a platform to teach the core life values of hard work, dedication, teamwork, accountability and leadership.

Program Philosophy:

Falcon's Fall to 1-3 in District

The Fauquier Falcon's wasted an excellent outing by Sophomore Charlie Simmons as they fell to Kettle Run tonight 6-3.  The Falcon's struggled to produce offense early, got behind and never made it all the way back in a tough loss to the Cougar's.  Fauquier looks to make a mid season District push on Friday at Liberty, 6:00 pm.

Warren County Outlasts Falcon's

The Fauquier Falcon's lost to Warren County 9-7 Friday night in a back and forth offensive duel.  Fauquier was led by Senior Jordan Taylor, who went 3-4 with a triple, double and single and 2 RBI and Sophomore Charlie Simmons who went 2-3 with a double and 3 RBI.  Fauquier travels to cross county rival Kettle run on Tuesday.

Fauquier Earns First District Win

On Tuesday it was the Falcon's turn to rally from an early deficit.  After taking an early 1-0 lead at Brentsville, the Falcon's fell behind 4-1 after 3, having stranded runners in scoring position each inning.  In the fourth Fauquier found timely hitting and started a 4 inning onslaught on Tiger pitching that lead to a 10-5 Evergreen District win for the Falcon's.  10 Falcon batters reached base safely over the course of the game and Sophomore Charlie Simmonds walked away with the win.  The Falcon's look to push their win streak to 4 and improve to 2-1 in District at home on Friday against Warren County.  First pitch at 6:30 at Athey Field.

Fauquier Downs James Wood 8-3

The Fauquier Falcon's improved to 5-4 overall tonight behind a strong early start, scoring 8 runs over the first 2 innings to defeat James Wood 8-3.  Sophomore Charlie Simmons got the win for the Falcon's who resume District play on Tuesday against Brentsville.

Falcon's Bounce Back Against Culpeper

After a disappointing 9-4 District loss to Liberty, where the Falcon's failed to build on their 4-1 first inning, Fauquier came back hungry against Culpeper winning 9-2.  The Falcon's got 7 strong innings from starter Junior Max Winn for a complete game victory.  Offensively, Fauquier scored in every inning and were led by Freshman Ryan Simpson, who had 2 doubles in his first Varsity start.  The Falcon's travel to James Wood tomorrow night and will attempt to get back over .500.

Falcon's Set to Kick off District Play

The Fauquier Falcon's kick off their Evergreen District play on Wednesday against cross county rival Liberty at Athey Field 6 pm.  The Falcon's come out of Spring Break with a 3 straight games (Wed Liberty H 6:00, Thurs Culpeper H 6:00, Fri James Wood A 6:00) and hope to set the tone for the rest of their season with a successful start to District play.
